The anticipated contract will include one 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods.

Option Period Two – 12 Months Vitrium Enterprise Installed License with Annual Support and Maintenance. Justification for Sole Source Vitrium Security Enterprise is required to meet NIH’s digital rights management requirements. The solution supports access without requiring additional applications or plug-ins and provides single sign-on, real-time analytics, auditing, Java application programming interface integration, and operation within an enterprise, load-balanced, high-availability environment.
NIH conducted market research and a proof-of-concept evaluation of available solutions. The evaluation determined that Vitrium met the Government’s requirements, while the other products evaluated did not meet all required capabilities. Use of another solution would require substantial duplication of time and technical effort and could result in reduced operational efficiency and increased enterprise security risk.
