In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source using single source procedures. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source, one-time award to purchase the following items:

These items are proprietary to LMPT and LMPT is the sole manufacturer.

All products made and sold by LMPT are available strictly on a Commercial Basis in accordance with LMPT’s Commercial Terms and conditions of sale. The Batteries and Propeller Blades used upon the Lockheed Martin Indago III is a vital to the CBP mission for operations. The Batteries and Propeller Blades are proprietary to Lockheed Martin.
