AMENDMENT 00001 The purpose of this amendment is to:

1. Incorporate the questions and answers.

2. The due date for offers remains unchanged. //NOTHING FOLLOWS// DESCRIPTION OF WORK: GLS has a requirement to perform concrete rehabilitation in the damaged areas at Eisenhower and Snell Lock as identified within the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Eisenhower and Snell Lock are located in Massena, NY 13662. CONTRACT TYPE: This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) that will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 15, subject to the availability of funds.

CONTRACT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete within sixty-two (62) calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed. The Locks are expected to be dewatered on or about January 13, 2025. The contractor is expected to complete all work inside the lock by March 07, 2025, and demobilize off-site by March 16, 2025. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

Eisenhower Lock: 190A Barnhart Island Road, Massena, NY 13662 // 76 Barnhart Island Road, Massena NY 13662. Snell Lock: 400 Fregoe Road, Massena, NY 13662. QUESTIONS DUE DATE: Questions must be sent via e-mail to purchasing@dot.gov arriving no later than October 11, 2024, 2:00 PM EST. After this due date further requests may not be accepted due to time constraints. For questions regarding this solicitation, email purchasing@dot.gov.

OFFERS DUE DATE: October 25, 2024, 2:00PM EST. Offers must be sent via e-mail to purchasing@dot.gov, no later than October 25, 2024, 2:00 PM EST. ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: The anticipated date of award is on or about November 11, 2024.
