This is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only for the proposed contract work. This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Plans and specifications are not available at this time. The intent of this form is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of performing the proposed contract work.

Requirement: The proposed contract action is for a firm-fixed-priced services contract. The primary objectives of the proposed project are to procure remediation on gullies that have formed (without placing construction equipment on the slope) and clean-up/repair/replace some of the existing erosion control product placement to reduce the risk of further erosion of the slope. This may include but is not limited to:

(1) furnish and install topsoil, (2) furnish and install straw fiber rolls, (3) furnish and install Type 2D erosion control blankets, and (5) furnish and install turf establishment. No design services are required for this effort. The project is located in Cooper Landing, Kenai Peninsula Borough, AK along the Snug Harbor Road. This third phase of the project begins on Snug Harbor Road approximately 1.2 miles east of Sterling Hwy and ends .23 miles to the east of that.

The project is anticipated to go on advertisement in Spring 2025 with work in Summer 2025 Response: Any offeror capable of providing this service shall respond to this sources sought by submitting this form no later than Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 1400 PT.
