The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Becton Dickinson & Company, LLC dba BD. Becton Dickinson & Company, BD IV Prep and BD Pyxis MedStation implemented throughout the VISN 23 Health Care System.

BD IV Prep and BD Pyxis MedStation system is proprietary and may only be licensed by Becton Dickinson & Company. The place of performance is for the Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 23 medical facilities. The NAICS code is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 Employees, and PSC J065.
