36C26124R0052 MRI Storage and Magnet Transportation Page 1 of 1 This is a sources sought notice for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Veterans Administration (VA). The purpose of this sources sought is to identify qualified businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), small, disadvantaged businesses (SDB), Women-owned Small Business (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business, 8(a) Small Business and small business concerns that are interested in and capable of performing the work described as follows:

Provide temporary storage of two (2) Siemens MRI magnets (Prisma and Vida 3T) connected to a full operational cryogen farm. Storage shall be month-to-month for up to a total of 12 months. The magnets must always be maintained and operational in accordance with Siemens specific conditions to ensure the 3T magnets are not damaged in any way and is fully operational when installed.

The magnets shall be delivered in accordance with Siemens specific requirements, to the VA Palo Alto medical center at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA, at a time designated by the VA. A minimum of 4 weeks notification by the VA will be given to schedule the delivery of the magnets. The NAICS code is 493110 General Warehousing and Storage, and the corresponding size standard is $34M.

Your responses to the sources sought will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.

Interested firms fitting one or more of these Socio-economic categories should send their information by E-mail to Samantha.henerson@va.gov and charee.harris@va.gov no later than 10:00 AM Pacific Time, April 15, 2024. The following information is requested in response to this notice: (1) Type of socio-economic category (e.g., SDVOSB, Small Business, etc.), if firm is a SDVOSB or VOSB, evidence of verification in Vetcert as a SDVOSB or VOSB (SDVOSB and VOSB firms must be verified by the Center for Veteran Enterprises (CVE).

All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested firms fitting one of more socio-economic categories. If adequate interest is not received, this action will not be set aside for SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, 8(a) small business or small business firms. Attachments 1 Sources Sought Response form
