Repairs for 3 Mechanical Rooms

Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a request for proposal for a general construction contractor to repair and replace damaged and missing steam straight pipe insulation. Removal of all Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) from mechanical rooms and re-installed into the adjacent electrical substation rooms. The VA is requesting new disconnects in weatherproof housings to be added adjacent to the existing motor where one is not already provided. New control wiring and power conductors with associated conduits, couplings, fitting, and bracketry as required. All VFDs shall be tested to ensure proper function and original functionality is maintained.
