Sources Sought Synopsis The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to assist in our decision-making process for a service procurement. This is not a solicitation, nor a request for quotes or proposals. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request.
This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award of a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is conducting market research to identify potential vendors with economic status of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, and other Small Businesses that can provide the general requirements below.
General Requirements The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, has a requirement for On-Call Social Work Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) located in Northern California requires On-Call Social Work Services. Contractor shall primarily focus on providing Social Work Services on an as needed basis in the following areas: Community Care, Medical Social Work, and Homeless Services. Services provided will include but not limited to:
inpatient, outpatient, and outreach work for Veterans and their families. Emphasizes will be on providing direct care. Social Workers must be competent in general social work functions, possess a MSW or depending on assignment a clinical license. Contractor should be able to provide personnel for the following VANCHCS locations: Martinez CLC, Oakland Outpatient Clinic, Martinez OPC, Fairfield/Mare Island OPC, Sacramento / Mather Hospital and OPC, McClellan OPC, Yuba City OPC, Chico OPC, Redding OPC, and Yreka OPC. Place of Performance:
VA Northern California Healthcare System: Martinez CLC, Oakland Outpatient Clinic, Martinez OPC, Fairfield/Mare Island OPC, Sacramento / Mather Hospital and OPC, McClellan OPC, Yuba City OPC, Chico OPC, Redding OPC, and Yreka OPC.
Period of Performance: The intended period of performance will be for 5 years, which may approximately begin around October 1, 2024. Response Method: Please complete attached sources sought notice.
