General Requirements The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, has a requirement for On-Call Social Work Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) located in Northern California requires On-Call Social Work Services. Contractor shall primarily focus on providing Social Work Services on an as needed basis in the following areas: Community Care, Medical Social Work, and Homeless Services. Services provided will include but not limited to: inpatient, outpatient, and outreach work for Veterans and their families. Emphasizes will be on providing direct care. Social Workers must be competent in general social work functions, possess a MSW or depending on assignment a clinical license.
