Biomed Carto3 System Maintenance and Support

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, Biosense Webster Inc., located at 31 Technology Dr Ste 200 Irvine, CA 92618: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 ASA24 CARTO 3 System Service and Maintenance 1 YR 1001 ASA24 CARTO 3 System Service and Maintenance (OY1) 1 YR 2001 ASA24 CARTO 3 System Service and Maintenance (OY2) 1 YR The services provided from this contract shall be for preventative maintenance on the equipment (SN34345), to ensure it is safe to use for patient care, and corrective maintenance should the devices break or malfunction.

The Webster Carto 3 was purchased from Biosense Webster. The RMR currently has a SMA for the Carto 3 system under contract number 36C25921C0130. This contract is a continuation of the previous and current contract. This manufacturer will only quote for a base year and 2 option years, which is the same as the prior contract, as this is for service and maintenance on one serialized device that may need to be replaced.

The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811210 and the Business Size Standard is $34.0 Million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Friday, August 30th, 2024. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above.

A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
