THIS PROCUREMENT IS A SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 15, intends to award a Construction Contract for Project 589A5-23-102.

238220 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE: $19.0 Million Magnitude of VA Project: Less than $25,000 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: 589A5-24-500SL, Boiler 2 Tube Leak Repair The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment to locate and make proper repairs to the boiler 2 tube leaks in building 40. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment. Provide all materials and perform work as required by the attached drawings and specifications for Proj. 589A5-24-500SL B at the Topeka, KS VA Medical Center. Period of performance 14 days.

1) Failure to provide all documentation required by this solicitation may be grounds to deem your offer nonresponsive.

2) The contractor's price must be determined to be Fair and Reasonable IAW FAR 15.002(a). 3.) Award will be made based on availability of funding. 4.) Special Note regarding FAR 52.229-3:

Federal, State, and Local Taxes: Offerors are hereby notified that all state and Local sales taxes for construction materials must be included in their bid or proposal price. It is solely the ibili ibili Responsibility of the offeror to include all other applicable taxes in their bid/proposal price as well. The Government has Determined that for this acquisition it cannot take advantage of any sales or use tax exemptions that may be available to it Under applicable state law.

Under no circumstances will any Contractor be designated as an agent of the Government for purpo ses of any tax exemption, nor will the Government authorize any Contractor’s use of ay tax exemption directly applicable to h The government under this procurement. A price change request upon award for state & local sales taxes will not be accepted. 5.)
