The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 12) Great Lakes Acquisition Center anticipates entering a single source procurement with Circles of Support for the Early Alert System. This acquisition is conducted under FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). Early Alert reduces suicide and crisis among Veterans through individual weekly check-ins and instant referrals to VA and non-VA support resources, including live counseling. A Veteran can sign-up using their mobile devices.
Early Alert is available to all Veterans. Veterans do not need to be service connected to utilize this service. Each week, there will be a check-in message sent via text message. Early Alert will identify Veterans expressing a wellness challenge and suggest support resources to them that are relevant to the specific issue they are facing, based on a resource map that will be created by the POC.
The weekly message (check-in/caring contact/wellness and safety reminders) will be determined by the POC provided by the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center. Other entities can provide the above referenced service may identify your capabilities and respond by no later than Friday, March 29, 2024 8:00 AM, Central Time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested entities submitting a response to this notice must do so no later than the period specified for consideration.
A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received because of the notice of intent will normally be considered for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
