The Department of Veterans Affairs, Indianapolis Veterans Affairs Health Care System to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1, for services of two novel models from Cyagen Biomodels, which involves sclerostin (Sost) and Zinc Finger Protein 384 (Zfp384) which allow for small-molecule-based targeting on models that can induce loss-of-function but are also reversible. The purpose of this service is to generate novel genetically engineered mouse models to study in vivo biology of Sost and Zfp384.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Wednesday, March 27, 2024, 12:00PM, EST. However, those statements shall describe in detail how the vendor can meet or exceed the Veterans Affairs requirements. Interested/capability statements shall be sent to Rachael.Talbott@va.gov with the subject titled: 3C24E24Q0050.

No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
