A: The door is the same size as what is on the boiler now (Reference the SOW equipment listing).
Q: What type of material should we use for the rope gasket?
A: A High Temp Fire Rated rope gaskets made for this application.
Q: The existing work area is covered in thick black matte paint. Is this lead-free paint?
A: This is lead-free paint.
Q: What type of material is this and do we need to match it on our repairs?
A: This is a high temperature paint, please match as closely as possible.
Q: Can a certified engineer with 10 years experience be substituted for the 10-year fire protection engineer A:
CERTIFICATIONS: Contractor must provide a certified Engineer that must be certified through a formalized training program, with a verified Certificate to perform preventative and remedial maintenance on the Boiler. Contractor must provide an Engineer who must be OSHA-10 certified and comply with the Federal Guidelines.
TRAINING: A minimum of 10 hours of training is required
