SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall remove existing resilient sheet flooring with welded seams, provide goods, and install new flooring at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301; located in Building 1 on the fifth floor in Behavioral Health Dayroom 518 and 560. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor is to remove existing sheet flooring with welded seams and provide repairs as needed (level divots, cracks, etc.).

Contractor is to provide and install homogeneous sheet flooring .080" thick with backing, flooring should be in accordance with specifications and VA TIL requirements. The combined rooms are approx. 515 sq ft with cove base 4" up wall. It s critical that patient care is not disrupted, and this will require completing the installation of each room separately. Infectious Control measures are required during demolition and installation. An infectious control permit will be issued by the VA.

The Vendor shall provide all supervision, labor, and equipment necessary for completion. Must be completed within 30 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Duty hours will be 0730-1600. SMALL BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS For market research purposes, all responses to this notice will be reviewed, regardless of small business/socioeconomic category, including those firms that are identified as large businesses.

Review of responses to this notice will support later determination of set-aside requirements, if a solicitation becomes available, where the rule of two is met regarding a set-aside, including set-asides under 38 U.S.C. 8127 and 8128 for SDVOSB and/or VOSB firms registered in the VIP and VetCert database, in accordance with priorities set by regulation.
