Valet Services Martinsburg VA Medical Center RFQ# 36C24524Q0581 Questions and Answers 1. How far away is the valet parking lot from the valet check-in? Approx. 500 feet to the center of the provided parking area. 2. How many spaces in the valet parking lot? Around 50 or so spaces are in the valet parking lot. 3. Will there be an overflow parking lot? We have not experienced the need for overflow parking; however, spaces would be provided. 4. How many vehicles are parked per day?

There are around 80 90 cars parked per day, on average. 5. Will there be a supervisor on site? Yes, there is a supervisor on site that is the direct contact to the COR. 6. If a car is still parked in valet parking after the close of business at 5:00 PM, what is the procedure? If there are vehicles parked after 5:00 PM, keys should be turned in to the Administrator on Duty (A.O.D.) for the customer to pick up. 7. Will drug testing be required for valet employees? See excerpt from SOW:

DRUG/ALCOHOL POLICY: Contractor shall ensure that all valet parking staff performing under this contract complied with the Martinsburg VAMC alcohol and drug free workplace policy. The Contractor shall be expected to conduct random alcohol and drug tests on all valet parking staff. Random alcohol and drug tests shall be conducted at least once a year on each employee performing under the resulting contract.

Valet parking staff shall also be subject to drug and alcohol testing when reasons exist to suspect the use of illegal drugs and/or alcohol while on duty that impaired judgment, performance, operation of vehicles and the safety of Veteran patients, VA employees, visitors, voluntaries and/or other valet parking staff. Upon request, the Contractor shall be expected to provide evidence or copy of the results of employee drug and alcohol testing. 8. What are the hours of operation i.e., 8am to 5pm? 6:30am -5:00pm (M-F) *except federal holidays
