Emerald Care Objet 500 Connex Printer Services for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare (VAPHS)

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO4), intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Stratasys, INC., for the provision of Object500 CONNEX 3 Printer Services at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS). This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.5. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability in response to this notice.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811310 with a small business size standard of $12.5 million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 3:00 P.M., EST, on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification. SOW Purpose: The Human Engineering Research Laboratories (HERL) of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) requires Emerald Care Annual Maintenance Contract for existing equipment, Object500 CONNEX 3 Printer, for a period to include a base year and 4 option years.

2.0 Deliverables: 2.1 The contractor will provide phone support during business days. 2.2 The contactor will provide on-site technical support within 3 business days of a reported issue. 2.3 Preventative maintenance will be performed by a certified Stratasys service representative at factory recommended maintenance intervals. 2.4 Preventative maintenance procedures may be completed in conjunction with unscheduled or emergency service visits.

2.5 The contractor will provide hardware updates throughout the maintenance period. 2.6 The contractor will provide Stratasys developed software maintenance updates throughout the maintenance period. 2.7 The contractor will submit invoices quarterly during the contract period. 2.8 Contractor performance will be monitored and evaluated quarterly to ensure services are completed appropriately and in a timely manner.
