Intent to Sole Source The Philadelphia VA Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania intends to negotiate sole source contract.

The contract for the Translogic Pneumatic Tube Systems Preventative maintenance program will be awarded under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supply or services will satisfy agency requirement) to Translogic DBA Swisslog Healthcare,11080 Circle Point Road, Suite 500, Westminster, CO 80020. The Justification and Approval for this action is attached to this notice. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used, and the resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract.

The NAICS Code is 811310 and the size standard is $11 Million. This special notice serves as a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and it is not a request for competitive proposal and it is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
