This is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing to Contract Specialist John Bolt, john.bolt@va.gov, no later than 3/19/2025 at 15:00 pm EST. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. Responses to this notice shall include the following:

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Regional Procurement Office East (RPO East), Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) located at the NYH Health Care System Brooklyn Campus 800 Poly Place Brooklyn, NY 11209 have a requirement for a contractor to provide 16 Rooms *Each room has 4 Vacuum outlet (64 total outlets) need to be replaced.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and tools required to perform tasks for ICU 11th floor in 16 rooms and each room, 4 vacuum outlets (64 outlets in total), at the Brooklyn Campus of the NY Harbor Healthcare System, Department of Veterans Affairs.

1. Contractor shall furnish all parts and labor to accomplish the task removing old vacuum outlets and installing the new ones for ICU on the 11th floor.

2. Contractor will be coordinating with our Plumbing shop, due to any medical and non-medical utilities are shutdown (ONLY) by Engineering staff if needed.

3. A required ASSE 6030 license for technician is required for this installation by the contractor.

4. All work is to meet NFPA 99-2021 code.

5. Test all vacuum zone valves for proper function, identification, and mechanical integrity.

6. One year guarantee on all work performed.

7. Check vacuum system components for proper installation (i.e. Brazing, labeling, hanging etc.) The NAICS Code is 238220 Plumbing, heating and air conditioning contractors with a Small Business size standard of $ 16.5 million. SDVOSB/VOSB vendors shall be registered in SBA VetCert. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the NYH Health Care System Brooklyn Campus.
