It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing.

The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below.

Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following:

This Sources Sought is for the Syracuse VA Medical Center 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210 who has a requirement for an Elevator Service Maintenance agreement. The service agreement shall be Pest Control Services for the medical center.

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, supplies, materials, equipment, and transportation to develop and implement an integrated pest management (IPM) plan for the exterior and interior of the Syracuse VA Medical Center 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 133210 and the Rome, NY Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) 125 Brookley Road, Rome, NY 13441. All work is to be performed by qualified/certified applicators in accordance with all federal, state, and local requirements and regulations.

All services shall be required to be done in a manner that ensures the health and general well-being of patients, staff, and visitors. All infestations will be addressed until complete elimination of pests. The NAICS Code is 561710 Exterminating and Pest Control Services.
