MONDAY 09/30/2024 NO LATER THAN 08:00AM. PLEASE Review attached Statement of Work. SITE VISIT was held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 8:30 AM. Background checks must be completed prior to being granted entry to attend Site visit, to all persons enterying the Correctional Complex. This form is attached.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman, Florida (FCC Coleman) located at 846 NE 54th Terrace, Coleman, Florida in Sumter County intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary labor and incidentals to remove existing and install a new wet, fire suppression system at the Food Service Warehouse which complies with NFPA 25 and all other applicable codes and standards. This contract will consist of install/labor only.
All materials needed are already on site. Work hours shall be between the hours of 6:30 AM and 03:30 PM, Monday through Friday, except Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays. Contractor’s pricing shall include labor costs for the weekend work hours. Due to the work involved for this project, it could be beneficial for the Contractor to work “off shifts” (after 3:00 PM and before 6:00 AM).
While the off shifts are not required, the FBOP is open to discussing this option should it be beneficial to the Contractor and the FBOP. Bids which identify additional costs for weekend work hours or “off shift” work hours will be rejected. Should the Contractor need to access the site to conduct work associated with this contract at a time other than those listed above, the Contractor will request an alternate time in writing to the COR five (5) working days prior to the date and time requested.
