Acclima Inc. Description: The Department of Commerce, NOAA Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Office of Atmospheric Research (OAR), Air Resources Laboratory (ARL), Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division (ATDD) has a need to acquire a rapid deployable 10 m tower systems for one of the upcoming field campaigns.

ATDD will be involved to support the forecasting of fire weather during field campaigns beginning in fall 2023 and beyond that are funded as a component of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). Two mobile boundary layer measurement trailer systems will be constructed for this study. The tower needs to be deployed in less than two minutes, less that 50 lb, withstand winds up to 75 mph, and have mounting points for our various meteorological sensors. ATDD seeks to purchase 2 rapid deploy tower systems that will include:

However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
