Notice of Intent - NAVAJO-GALLUP BLENDING STUDY

**NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE** This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. Award will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b); Soliciting from a single source.

The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) intends to solicit and award to THE REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO for analytical laboratory services that are needed to analyze raw and treated drinking water for total and dissolved concentrations of inorganic cations and anions by inductively coupled plasma with mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) or ion chromatography (IC).

Additionally, consulting services related to internal pipe corrosion under drinking water conditions needed, including recommendations for lab- and field-based testing based on previous experience, input to thermodynamic computer modeling, interpretation of water quality analysis and testing, and recommendations for potential chemical solutions (e.g, corrosion inhibitors). These services are needed in support of the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project San Juan Lateral.

Responses received as a result of this notice of intent will not be considered as quotes nor offers. Responses will be used for market research purposed and to assist in the development of future acquisition strategies.
