The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) intends to solicit and award to THE REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO for analytical laboratory services that are needed to analyze raw and treated drinking water for total and dissolved concentrations of inorganic cations and anions by inductively coupled plasma with mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) or ion chromatography (IC). Additionally, consulting services related to internal pipe corrosion under drinking water conditions needed, including recommendations for lab- and field-based testing based on previous experience, input to thermodynamic computer modeling, interpretation of water quality analysis and testing, and recommendations for potential chemical solutions (e.g, corrosion inhibitors). These services are needed in support of the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project San Juan Lateral. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent will not be considered as quotes nor offers.
