Demo of Wooden Gauge Monitoring Station Shelter

The U.S. Geological Survey Virginia Water Science Center has a requirement for the demolition of a wooden monitoring station located in Springfield, Virginia. All work must be completed within 90 days of the date the contractor receives the notice to proceed (NTP). There are no option periods. Competitive Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0125Q0071 will be issued on or about 03/14/2025 with written quotes due on or about 04/01/2025.

The site is open to the general public so interested vendors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. An organized site visit will not be held. Instructions for the location of and access to the site can be found in provision GS0001 of the RFQ. All contractors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to visit the site. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors. The size standard is $19.0 million.

The magnitude of construction is less than $25,000.00. The anticipated award date of the contract is 04/09/2025. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov to be awarded the contract.
