Tree planting supplies for forest seasonal planting

The NEZ PERCE- CLEARWATER NATIONAL FOREST Is looking to acquire tree planting supplies for our seasonal reforestation. These supplies are very specialized, request that you pay very close attention to the specifications and if you have any questions call the technical POC at the bottom of the page. Your quote should be itemized, Including the items requested, delivery to the indicated delivery location and total costs and the exspacted date after award. Please supply documentation on each of the requested supplies which should include specifications and picture.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 06/17/2024 – 07/31/24 Characteristics (18’’ to 24’’ inch) Shade Tubes or equivalent used to protect seedlings and prolong the rapid growing period. The product needs to be shiny on the outside to reflect the sun and textured on the inside to help retain moisture. Tubes needs to lay flat for easy shipping and on-site assembly. (24 ½’’ to 3 ft) bamboo stakes or equivalent diameter of 10mm-16mm. Steaks will need to withstand the elements minimum of two years.

Zip Ties 6 – 8-inch zip ties (Cable Ties) Cable ties are required to attach shade tubes to the bamboo stakes. Each shade tube requires two cable ties per installation. (The Zip Tie requirement is ONLY required when needed to secure the tubes to the bamboo steaks).

Note: It is understood that the bamboo stakes may come in bunches of 500 or so and the zip ties may come in packets of 100 or more. It is understood that this may throw off the numbers slightly. The amount per bundle cannot be lower, then the amount indicated.
