Storage and Integration

Battelle Memorial Institute (Battelle), Pacific Northwest Division in operation of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) requests information to begin planning for an integrated service provider for the procurement of vehicles (e.g., truck, sport utility vehicle (SUV), and all-terrain vehicle (ATV), aftermarket automotive accessories (e.g., truck canopies, storage drawers/racks, battery charging/isolation systems) and integration of Battelle-supplied radiation detection systems (RDS) into the vehicles.

This effort will also require logistics support for acceptance teams including contracting for the use of small radiation check sources, long term storage of integrated vehicle/RDS systems, custom bonding/warehousing, and coordinating with Battelle for exports of integrated vehicle/RDS systems. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a solicitation/request for proposals and submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary.

This Sources Sought/EOI is issued for the purpose of conducting market research. As such, nothing in this request shall be interpreted as a commitment on the part of Battelle to enter into a contract with any respondent. Battelle assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Battelle will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity and potential interested contractors capable of providing services consistent with those described in this Sources Sought/EOI.
