Amendment 4 Amendment 4 provides a picture of the labels located on the side of the panel (Picture 8) and vendor questions and answers:
1. Q: Could you please confirm whether the rollers are 2" or 3"?
A: 3 inch 2. Q: Are the garage door panels made of steel or aluminum?

Confirmation of Door Dimensions: Our supplier has estimated the width of the lower panel section to be approximately 20 feet and 2 inches. Could you please confirm the exact dimensions of the door (width and height), or specify the size of the section to be replaced?
A: The door measures 24’3” x 24” 2. Q:
OEM Information: Based on vendor feedback, the existing door appears to be an older Fimbel ISO model. We’ve been informed that Fimbel Door Corp. ceased operations around the year 2000. Can you confirm whether the government accepts non-OEM equivalent panels due to unavailability of original parts?
A: We understand Fimbel has ceased operation and accept non-OEM parts for the repair.
Amendment 2 The proposal due date has been changed to 1700 ET on June 12th, 2025.
Amendment 1 1) Pictures are now added to this solicitation in the attachments section.
2) A site visit will be available for interested contractors on June 10th at 10AM ET. Please contact albert.rotti-iii@fema.dhs.gov to let him know who will be attending the site visit and to receive site instructions. Please see attached Statement of Work for details. Email christopher.barrow@fema.dhs.gov with questions regarding this requirement. The proposals will be evaluated based on lowest priced technically acceptable.
The Overhead door failed due to age and was found that several parts were broken, worn and needed to be replaced. Contractor will remove solid steel shaft, Springs and bearings and lower panel on a commercial overheat garage door and replace them with OEM or equivalent. In addition, make all necessary adjustments. Contractor will be allowed to enter the building for 1 day to complete the replacement of the door parts. Additional time will be provided if additional parts need replacement. Contractor will do a thorough cleaning of the area, haul-off their trash, old and new excess materials dispose of properly per local, state, and federal regulations.
