Intent to Sole Source to CareFusion Solutions LLC

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Chinle Service Unit (CSU), which consist of the Chinle Comprehensice Health Care Facility, Many Farms Clinic, Pinon Health Center, Tsaile Health Center, adn Rock Point Clinic, intends to award a non-competitive, sole source purchase order to proposed contractor, Carefusion Solutions LLC, for rental and support services for (1) Pyxis CllSafe and (2) Pyxs MedStations.

Authority cited FAR Part 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contractor shall provide rental and support services for (1) Pyxis CllSafe and (2) Pyxs MedStations for Fiscal Year 2024, period of performance 05/01/2024 to 04/30/2025. The proposed contractor is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required rental and support services to ensure that there is no interruption in services that could impact patient care.

This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation avaialble for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Governmnent. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information recieved or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.

Of no affirmative written response is recieved by April 05, 2024, 5:00 PM MST, the contact will be issued without further notice. A deterination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Infromation received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.

Any solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in Federal Business Opportunities in accordance with the FAR Part 5. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Governemnt reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
