Caisson Wagon

This is the official notification of intent to sole source the Cassion Wagon, J&A is attached. The statutory authority is Title 41 U.S.C. §1901(e)(2) as implemented in FAR 13.501(b)(1),For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. Urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization).

This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition of this action will be advantageous to the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted.

A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any question in regards to this notice are due by 10 AM EST on 22 December 2025.
