Military District of Washington (MDW) Media Risers

Non-Personal Service contract to install up to six (6) media risers at up to four (4) locations (three (3) known locations and one (1) location to be determined) in Washington, DC as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). State Funerals are administered by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington (MDW) and are greatly influenced by protocol, steeped in tradition, and rich in history.

Generally, two events require the use of contracted media risers: the National Funeral Service at Washington National Cathedral (3 media risers), and the Funeral Procession along Constitution Avenue (2 media risers at two different locations along the Constitution Avenue). There may, on occasion, be an additional riser, required for a location to be determined.
