Synopsis B-635 Doors and Frames

Synopsis B-635 Doors and Frames 26 June 2026 This posted announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR Overhaul 5.101. The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leavenworth intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB).

Scope: The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications to replace building 635’s exterior doors, frames and locking mechanisms. All work performed by the contractor shall result in a complete, functional door system. The site of the proposed work is Building 635, the main barracks facility at Fort Leavenworth.

Contractor to ensure all exterior door replacement work shall provide weather tight entrances and openings complete with weather stripping, gaskets, door sweeps and caulking as required at all exterior door replacements. Contractor is responsible to field verify door sizes. Contractor must ensure proper clearances to allow installation of replacement doors either in retrofit or new frames as needed. Allow doors to swing freely and close positively.

Anticipated an award will be given to a responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids; will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation.
