The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Generator Replacement, Wings Neck Radar Site, Cape Cod Canal Project, Pocasset, MA.

THE WORK CONSISTS OF:

Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, and materials for removal and proper disposal of an existing 35 KW propane standby generator, exhaust muffler, automatic transfer switch, and components. Furnish equipment, materials, and labor for installation of a new 24 KW propane standby generator, automatic transfer switch, exhaust silencer/muffler, and components. Contractor shall connect and wire the existing louvers to function with the new generator.

The new generator must be installed in the same place as current generator and in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Government will disconnect power to the existing building. After installation of the new generator and automatic transfer switch, the Government will reconnect power to the building. The magnitude of construction is less than $100,000. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
