ProjNET Bidder Software Supply and Maintenance, Notice of Intent

Notice of Intent: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to solicit, on a sole source basis, the brand name software, ProjNET, particular to one manufacturer (National Institute for Building Sciences) and related software/maintenance that allows the Contracting, Engineering, and Programs and Project Management Divisions to exchange documents in real-time with internal and external stakeholders. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

It is a market research tool being used to determine the availability of other qualified sources that can provide the software and maintenance identified above. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice of intent. All responses received within 15 days of the posting of this notice of intent will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. to require the brand name for the software and maintenance based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determine whether to allow alternate system manufacturers.
