Question: In regards to the Smithland Lock and Dam Waterline project, if it is determined that a new meter is required how will the meter cost be covered? Will the meter cost be paid under Line Item: AMEND 001 - 100LF? If this is the case how will this be invoiced?

Answer: If a new water meter is determined to be needed. The meter cost would be associated with base item 001 replacement of 1000 LF of 4” HDPE and tied into water meter. See attached AMDT 0002; no further questions will be considered, due date for quotes is hereby extended to 04 March 2024 at 03:00PM ET.

The scope of work and price breakout schedule have been replaced in their entirety; all changes have been marked as "ADMT 0001." The hour and date specified for receipt of offer has been extended to 01 March 2024 at 03:00 PM Eastern Time. All amendments must be acknow ledged. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

The contractor shall provide material, labor and equipment necessary to complete Water Line Replacement. 1401 Smithland Dam Road, Brookport, IL 62910. Prices should include mobilization & de-mobilization, fuel, labor, material and equipment. The contractor’s work and responsibility shall include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications and inspection necessary to assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms and conditions incorporated herein.
