NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Design Bid Build construction renovation space in Building 10 at Defense Supply Center Columbus, OH W912QR24B0004 SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the construction renovation space in Building 10 at Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) Columbus, OH.

As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements: Brand Name Sole Source – Door Hardware The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirements for the following door hardware, which the Installation has standardized on to create a consistent door operating system for buildings across the Installation.

1. Best Access Systems 9K Series locks, cores, and keys.

2. LCN 4040XP door closers.

3. LCN 4640 electric door automatic operator 4. Von Duprin 98-F/99-F rim fire exit devices. *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM ET on 13 March 2024 to brandon.h.gatz@usace.army.mil.
