Cannon Air Force Base IRP Groundwater Fate and Transport Modeling Project

This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. This is a non-personal services contract to provide environmental remediation services for the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP).

The services are to perform remedial action activities for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in groundwater resulting from past aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) use and other potential releases at Cannon Air Force Base (CAFB) in New Mexico. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers (such as subcontractors) performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the primary Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.
