Asbestos Abatement Building N200, White Sands Missile Range

This action was awarded as and 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. SOW This is a non-personal services contract to provide services at Building N200 of White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) to perform asbestos abatement removal and disposal services for the United States Navy (USN). Building N200 has a planned renovation of the structure including a full interior demolition of all historic finishes.

Several years ago, this renovation was started, but when it was determined that the initial demolished materials (i.e., wallboard, tile, etc.) contained asbestos containing materials (ACM) the project was shut down. As such, the mission of this building has been delayed until a Hazardous Materials Survey was conducted to determine the extent of ACM contamination.

The objectives within this contract require the Contractor to perform asbestos abatement services for Building N200 of WSMR such that several types of ACM are removed including disposal in order to certify the building clean of ACM.
