Cordell Hull- DC Battery and Components

Request for Information: The Government is issuing this Request for Information to determine a competitive basis for the procurement described. This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. This survey is for market research purposes only. Only contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this Request for Information.

Requirement: This project shall involve replacement of in kind and commissioning of the DC battery system, inverter, and chargers at the Cordell Hull Project. Equipment to be furnished and installed will be in accordance with the following specifications. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items to perform the work herein. The contractor shall supply and install the following components:

a. New Batteries: Procurement and replacement of one (1) set of sixty (60) cell stationary flooded cell lead acid battery bank.

b. New Battery Rack: Provide and install properly sized, fabricated, uniform level,1 row battery Rack.

c. New Containment: Provide and install proper containment for the new batteries if old containment is not in compliance with regular standards.

d. New DC Battery Charger: Procurement and replacement of two (2) battery chargers e. New Inverter: Procurement and replacement of one (1) inverter *Please note this description is subject to change.
