Old Hickory Power Plant Horizontal Lifeline

PURPOSE: The purpose of this Scope of Work (S.O.W.) is to install a permanent horizontal lifeline system at Old Hickory Power Plant located in Hendersonville, TN.PROJECT DESCIRPTION: The Contractor shall furnish materials, labor, and equipment to install permanent horizontal lifeline systems at Old Hickory Power Plant Project along upstream and downstream sides of the 275-ton overhead bridge crane. The horizontal lifeline shall accommodate four persons at a time.

Product shall be equal to the Xenon fall protection system as manufactured by Miller / Honeywell Safety or approved equal. The system includes, but not be limited to, D-bolt anchors, shock absorbers, swageless cable fittings, intermediate support brackets, cable clips, thimble, anchor shackle, and fasteners.

DELIVERY DATE: 30 calendar days after notice of award.TYPE OD SET-ASIDE: The solicitation will be 100% small business set-aside.SOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Service Contract.SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, registration is required in the System for Award Management (SAM) database located at https://sam.gov/.
