229th Chem Co Troutville Meals BPA

The Virginia Army National Guard will conduct home station activities for the 229th Chemical Company at the Roanoke Regional Readiness Center in Troutville, VA. Soldiers attending the home station activities will require prepared meals delivered to the readiness center throughout specified event dates.

The Virginia Army National Guard intends to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), in accordance with this PWS, to purchase breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner meals through “call orders” as required in monthly “call orders”. The BPA will establish “agreements” with multiple vendors that may be used to satisfy requirements on a rotational or best value basis as in the best interest of the government.

Any BPA will be valid for a period up to 60 months or a maximum ceiling up to the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) and includes potential for re-issuance. Individual “calls” shall not exceed $20,000 and “calls” below the Micro Purchase Threshold (MPT) may be placed without providing for fair opportunity. At the start of any new fiscal year, BPA holders may submit updated pricing for the new period. The VAARNG selects the best value vendors each year. These calls are supplemented as needed.

Lunch meals will be requested most frequently, however some events may require breakfast and/or dinner meals. Also, a holiday themed meal may be requested once per fiscal year. The intent is to have a contractor provide high quality, hearty, and filling meals cooked under commercial and U.S. Army standards.
