Notice of Intent to award a sole-source contract

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, intends to award a sole-source contract to American State Equipment Co., Inc. for emergent diagnostic and repair services for a Government-owned Liebherr R954C excavator located in Lansing, Iowa.The contractor will diagnose and, if authorized, repair a low boom lifting power condition affecting ongoing Government operations.

The Government believes American State Equipment Co., Inc. is the only responsible source capable of meeting the urgent requirement due to its OEM-authorized diagnostic capability, factory-trained technicians, access to genuine OEM parts, and ability to respond in the timeframe required.This notice is not a request for quotations.
