Scope of Work/Technical Specifications 46’ Abrasion Resistant Spiral Butt-Welded Pipe W912ES25Q0026 1. General Information.

a. The Saint Paul District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Fountain City Service Base (FCSB), Physical Support Branch (PSB), has issued this solicitation for the procurement of 20 each – 46 ft sections of Abrasion Resistant Spiral Butt-Welded Pipe.

b. The abrasion resistant spiral butt-welded pipe will be used for the Dredge Goetz to span areas of sharp or abrasive objects (i.e., gravel, rocks, concrete, etc.) to transfer dredged material from the river to on offloading site.

c. The shipping charges shall be included in the quote. The vendor awarded the contract will be required to ship the pipe to the below shipping address by April 1, 2025.

d. The only work authorized is identified in this Statement of Work (SOW). Any additional changes must be approved by the contracting office and are required to have prior written approval from the Contracting Office before the work begins. 2. Specific Information.

The Contractor shall provide 20 each – 46 ft (46’-0”) sections of abrasion resistant spiral butt-welded pipe with flanges on each end. The pipe must have plain square cut ends continuous run. The inside diameter must not be less than 20”. The outside diameter must be twenty-one inches (21”). The wall thickness must not be less than three eights of an inch (3/8”).

The pipe shall contain the following typical properties: • Carbon: .30 - .35 • Manganese: 1.00 – 1.50 • Silicon: .15 - .30 • Brinell Hardness: 160 – 190 The pipe shall have pipe flanges welded to each end of the pipe per the drawing below. The flanges shall be aligned end to end within ± 1°.
