Marine Propulsion Wheel Repair

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a Contractor to recondition four (4) marine propulsion propellers. The propellers have experienced normal wear and tear during the past dredging season. The propulsion wheels have been removed from the vessels and will be palletized for shipment by the Government.

M/v Warren RH Propeller 80” diameter x 85.5” pitch 5 blade stainless steel workhorse style propellers Right hand rotation M/v Warren LH Propeller 80” diameter x 85.5” pitch 5 blade stainless steel workhorse style propellers Left hand rotation Fiedler Propeller 38” diameter x 33” pitch 4 blade stainless steel workhorse style propellers Right hand rotation Fluekiger Propeller 38” diameter x 33” pitch 4 blade stainless steel workhorse style propellers Right hand rotation Work to be completed: Repair minor to medium blade damage Straighten and weld as necessary Pitch propellers to class 2 per ISO R484-2 standard Static balance and finish polish Check internal bore of propellers Check condition of keyway Blue-fit taper bore to SAE gauge for 70% minimum fit The repair facility is responsible for the shipping cost to have the propellers picked up and delivered to the repair facility and returned to Government Facility in Fountain City, WI.
