STATEMENT OF WORK Jon Boat, Motor and Trailer Requirements: The contractor shall supply and deliver the boat, motor, trailer, and accessories to:

Lac Qui Parle Project, 9055 1st W, Watson MN 56295, The boat shall be comparable to a ‘1648’ style Jon Boat with a 40 HP motor and compatible trailer. The price quoted shall include the cost of transporting and unloading to the destination site. Shipment shall be prepaid and made at the contractor’s expense.

Delivery NLT - October 15, 2024 Salient Features: Boat General specifications: Flat bottom, 16’ (nominal) length, 48” (minimum) bottom width Color: Olive drab green or gray Transom height: 20 inches Max. weight capacity: 1000 pounds Max. Person capacity: 4 Side console with steering and control cables and operator’s fold down seat. Console to contain - At least two 12v power outlets, cup holder, and space for top mounted electronics.

Two locking storage compartments (with hasps or integrated locking devices), starboard and port sides, installed so as to maintain an open walking path from bow to stern, each compartment to contain approximately 6-8 cubic feet of storage space. All Storage doors must be made of heavy-duty material to withstand weight of over 350 lbs. Bow storage to contain approximately 8-10 cubic feet of storage space. Flat floor surface. Floor surface and bow surface to be coated with non-slip flooring material.

Four tie-off cleats. One bow eye (for connection to trailer safety strap/chain). Two stern eyes / handles (mounted on exterior of boat). Oar locks installed. Two navigation lights / sockets (bow and stern). Two seat bases / fold down seats with at least one seat installed on port side storage compartment; various configurations acceptable if needed for incorporation with side storage containers. Stern mounted depth transducer and console mounted depth display device.

12v bilge pump with console mounted toggle switch. Fuel tank, portable 6 gallons; with fuel line, connectors, and primer bulb. Outboard Motor 40 HP, 4 stroke gasoline outboard with aluminum propeller and spare aluminum propeller (including installation kit). Hydraulic Jack Plate to accommodate a 40 HP outboard engine. Electronic trimming function. Electric start. 12V starting battery enclosed in portable marine style battery box. Transom saver engine bracket.

Trailer Single axle bunk trailer compatible with supplied boat and motor. LED submersible trailer lights. 2” ball hitch Front safety strap which secures to boat bow eye. Two rear ratcheting straps for boat. Galvanized wheels with spare (galvanized) mounted to trailer. Accessories Two oars Four USCG approved XL adult life vests. Fire Extinguisher approved by USCG for vessel size / type.
