Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source 8(a) Procurement to Next Generation Logistics, LLC, for Dredge Hurley New Staterooms Insulation Installation W912EQ24Q0072 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, Memphis District, Contracting Branch, intends to issue a commercial services contract pursuant to the authority of FAR 19.8 on a sole source basis to Next Generation Logistics, LLC. This procurement is to be performed for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis District Operations Division.

The Contractor shall supply and install 3” thick insulation in two (2) new staterooms and new hallway on the Dredge Hurley. The insulation will be 3” thick mineral wool consisting of 2 layers of 1.5” thick mineral wool secured with weld pins. The proposed action will be a Commercial Firm Fixed-Price Supply type contract. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238310 with a Small Business size standard is $19,000.000.00.

This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This notice is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes.

Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability (include detailed technical information and other technical literature) demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements by e-mailing Contract Specialist Alexandria Duckett at Alexandria.D.Duckett@usace.army.mil no later than 10:00 a.m. Central Time on September 16, 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature.

If potential offerors choose to submit information, past performance, and references regarding capability to perform these services must be provided along with the statement of capability. The Government will not award a contract based on the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. The Government reserves the right not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice. These services may be awarded without further notice.
