The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Contract 3B of the Joseph G. Minish Passaic RiverWaterfront Park and Historic Area Project in Newark New Jersey consisting of theconstruction of approximately 905 LF of cantilever or tie-back sheet pile wall tosheet pile deadman and reinforced concrete cap. Additional project features willinclude storm drain outlets with concrete inlets and steel railing with mesh infillpanels.

Project magnitude is between $10,000,000 - $25,000,000. This projectsolicitation will be unrestricted full and open competition with HUBZonepreference. The period of performance for this project is 425 calendar days from the Noticeto Proceed date. The specifications will be posted electronically via the ContractOpportunities website at https://sam.gov/. The applicable North AmericanIndustry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 for General Contractors –Heavy Construction.

The media selected for the issuance of this solicitation and amendments shallsolely be at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, the medium utilizedfor this project is the Internet.
