Component rebuild shop (phase 1), Letterkenny army depot, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania

The US ARMY CORPS of ENGINEERS (USACE), Baltimore District in partnership with the LetterKenny Army Depot (LEAD) will host an Industry Day on 05 August 2024 at the Franklin County Coyle Free Library from 0900-1530 ET, doors open at 0830 ET. The day will cover the Compenent Rebuild Shop project objectives as well as a focus on Other Transactional Authority (OTA).

The project being presented is for the construction of a component reubuild shop for Ground Support Equipment Maintenance (industrial/manufacturing building type).

This project includes vehicle and equipment maintenance bays, consolidated bench area, internal vehicle and equipment wash area, repair parts storage, administrative area, training room, telecommunications server room, Electronic Security System (ESS) installation, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems connection. Interior bridge cranes with four 5-ton cranes and one 20-ton crane are required. Comply with the Net-Zero-Decarbonization Pilot Program Requirements. Advertisement of the project is anticpated in early Fiscal Year 2025.
