Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) Optimized Remediation Contract (ORC)

This notice is to advise that a site visit will be conducted for this requirement at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) on Tuesday, 21 May 2024 and Wednesday, 22 May 2024. The site visit will begin promptly at 9:00 AM EST each day and is anticipated to be finished at 3:30 PM EST. All parties will need to obtain a two (2)-day base pass at the McGuire Welcome Center, 3021 McGuire Blvd, located near the intersection of Defense Access Hwy/McGuire Blvd and Wrightstown-Cookstown Rd/E Main St. Please plan accordingly, as it could take 30-45 minutes to obtain a base pass depending upon the number of people being processed that morning.

The pass is for two (2) days and contractors will not be required to obtain a new pass for Wednesday. After obtaining your base pass, please proceed to the parking lot of Building 2008 3rd St, located near the intersection of 3rd St and McGuire Blvd. Please see Attachment C for directions. All parties will be required to sign in before boarding the bus for the site visit. Please keep passes with you at all times.

A draft solicitation was issued on 05 May 2024. Final solicitation issuance is anticipated by 29 May 2024. Each contractor will be allowed a maximum of two (2) attendees to the site visit. To obtain access to the base, each contractor must fill out the JBMDL Short Term Entry Authority List (EAL) Form (Attachment A) and email it to evan.m.cyran@usace.army.mil and leigha.m.arnold@usace.army.mil by 11:00 AM EST on Wednesday, 15 May 2024. This is a hard deadline.

Each contractor may list both of their attendees on one (1) form. Please fill out each attendee’s information on the chart. Please do not alter any other information on the form. The slide deck for the site visit presentation is attached (Attachment B). This information will be presented while on the bus and at the sites. Contractors are responsible for printing their own copies of the slides. Hard copies of the slides will NOT be provided at the site visit.
