CONTROL TOWER ELECTRICAL REHABILITATION at STILLWATER DAM in PENNSYLVANIA

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SOLICITATION: W912DR24B0034 ELECTRICAL REHABILITATION on CONTROL TOWER at STILLWATER DAM IN PENNSYLVANIA This proposed procurement is a Competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB); NAICS 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a size standard of $19,000,000.00.

Type of Set Aside: 100% Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program set-aside.

Project Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award construction services for Electrical Rehabilitation on the Control Tower at Stillwater Dam at Stillwater Dam in Pennsylvania. The Contractor is required to supply all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to complete the construction of the Government furnished plans and specifications.

In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this construction project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Construction duration is approximately 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. All *responsible bidders are encouraged to participate. The IFB will be available on or about 08 July 2024, through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).

A pre-bid tour is expected to take place on 18 July 2024 at 09:00 EST at New Main Office, 4265 State Route 171 Union Dale, PA 18470. Bids will be due on or about 08 August 2024. *Responsible means a contractor that meets the standards in FAR 9.104 -available at https://www.acquisition.gov This project consists of:

Address electric code violations in the Control Tower Replace damaged conduit. Make changes to accommodate the demolition of the current office building. Replace existing emergency generator with an outside generator and move it to a new location to support the storage building. Please see the attached Constructions Specifications, Existing Conditions Demolition, and Maps. The attachments are being provided as courtesy to this synopsis and the "final" attachments will be posted when the solicitation is issued.

Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive a government contract award.
